'Crime scene Paderborn: earthly power and heavenly powers' was the name of the art project for public space in the city of Paderborn, for which Ottmar Hoerl installed 400 guardian angels facades in the center of the city. 'As a connecting link between earthly power an heavenly, indifferent power, the guardian angel holds both offices concurrently. According to a survey by geo magazine, 66 percent of germans believe in the help of guardian angels. My guardian angel is only there for emergencies. In the normal course of life people should be responsible for themselves. The angel should only be called upon when all the other mechanisms we have as reasonable people have failed. And then, I think, the angel is in position to do justice to his duty.
