This “Love Sign” springs from a love of the iconography and vernacular of road signs. It is also a response to the sometimes heartless world we live in. 

Religious and corporate marks aside, there is perhaps no symbol more recognisable than the octagonal red “STOP” sign. Expletives deleted, there is perhaps no word more powerful and evocative than “LOVE”.

The Love Sign is made in Australia, to international traffic control specs. Being a roadsign, it’s weatherproof and safe to hang outside, and can be securely anchored to a wall or post. The sign has an ultra-reflective finish—so, with a distant light in a dark room, it glows like new love. 

First created in 2003, the Love Sign and its intended message just seem to become more and more pertinent. More than 350 have been produced to date. Today, Love Signs hang out in bedrooms and boardrooms from Noosa to New York—some 40-something places in a dozen or so countries.
